How to eat healthy on the road

These days I am travelling tons on Amtrak and Metrolink between San Diego,Los Angeles, and San Francisco. As always I have to stop at Los Angeles Union Station to either grab a cheap Meatball Marinara from Subway or an egg sandwich/banana combo from Famima Sandwich shop.And I’m always grabbing a bunch of fruits and organic carrots/ Persian cucumbers from Trader Joes. Here are a few good tips to stay healthy while on a busy travel work lifestyle,

1) Hydrate, hydrate. Drink plenty of water. Yes, water is a food. The body needs water for virtually all of its functions. Drinking plenty of water will flush your body of toxins, keep your skin fresh, and help you eat less. It will also help you avoid travel lag, symptoms of overexposure to the heat or sun, and junk-food cravings. –
